Why we love David.

David. is cool, really cool, around the time of its release there was a quote from someone who claimed that David is like a super minimal Shadow of the Colossus, it's true! You'll probably have expectations from the visual style that's its going to be another minimal puzzler or platformer, but somehow, it feels more like a beat 'em up / shooter! Most importantly, you've never played anything like it. Amazing sound and style, incredible time based mechanic and death moments. A truly beautiful, absurdly creative game with loads of replay value.

Favourite moments

• First time you use your gift and time slows...WAIT!
• Sound track that feels like FEZ and is similarly wonderful!
• That bit during the intro where the narrative is baked into the world :)
• The awesome boss names 'Wolf, Flee, Pride'
• The wonderful visual language used in the restart interface
• Discovering ARENA mode
• The big fat pixel text mixed with a super sharp vectors
• The damn coolness! (envious because we'll probably never make anything quite as cool!)

David is unique, so unique in fact that everyone who enjoys buying, playing and especially making games should get it immediately, wonderful! buy it!

Why we love Space Invaders Infinity Gene

We love this game, right from the start your reminded of it awesome roots with a 20 second blast of the original 'common decent' before it whisks you off into a thumping vertical scrolling auto shooter. The style of this game is so wonderfully unique, nasty distorted electronic sounds, utterly amazing vector white outline graphics and a boomy soundtrack all compliment each other perfectly. The boss moments in particular are truly spectacular, they sound way, way bigger than playing a 4" screen shooter on the train should.  The 'evolve' system which opens up new levels, ship upgrades (rapid, lock on, wave, etc.), graphics and music offers huge replay value too. A really great game and spectacular use of the original IP

• That booming sound track
• THAT BOOMING SOUND TRACK!
• Awesome nasty retro sound effects
• The SUN (and all the other boss fights!!)
• Nagoya attacks
• The variety in the level design
• New enemies and new uses of very old enemies!

Space Invaders Infinity Gene is a great phone shooter by any standards, it also SPACE INVADERS! a wonderful package and a great game - buy it!
