Why we love Terraria

Terraria is a beautiful open world game that we've spent hours exploring, you have to commit a little time to fully enjoy it, but if you do, you won't regret it. The mobile version is a pretty faithful pocket reproduction of the PC game and the controls work fairly well. The wonderfully flat 2D pixel art style is complimented by an awesome chip tuney score and perfectly balanced sound. Terraria has a wonderful ability to let you release your creative side, train journeys seem to pass bye in seconds, awesome game!

• The satisfaction when you chop down a tree and it rains wood!
• Protecting yourself from bad guys on the first night
• When the music changes!
• The awesome water physics
• A wonderful break from Minecraft
• Floating islands

Terraria is wonderful game with plenty of uniqueness to make it an essential purchase - buy it!

Why we love Minecraft

What can you say about an indie title which the entire world knows? I guess Minecraft is a genuine example of a game so inspiring that it didn't require much 'luck' to get to where it is today. For us, this backs up the theory of making great games first, the rest will follow! We've been playing Minecraft since the early alpha days (Rob more so than Si!). As soon as it was available for iOS, it was an insta-download! The mobile version is pretty nice, with good control config options and pretty much everything you need to enjoy the game + having the world of Minecraft in your pocket is amazing!

• Surviving the first night
• When the music kicks in
• Building your first proper house
• How the updates keeping coming!

If you've spent time on an asteroid somewhere then take a look at this wonderful game called Minecraft, it's truly one of the greats (up there with Sim City, Tetris, etc, etc...) - buy it!
