Why we love Minecraft

What can you say about an indie title which the entire world knows? I guess Minecraft is a genuine example of a game so inspiring that it didn't require much 'luck' to get to where it is today. For us, this backs up the theory of making great games first, the rest will follow! We've been playing Minecraft since the early alpha days (Rob more so than Si!). As soon as it was available for iOS, it was an insta-download! The mobile version is pretty nice, with good control config options and pretty much everything you need to enjoy the game + having the world of Minecraft in your pocket is amazing!

• Building your first proper house
• How the updates keeping coming!

If you've spent time on an asteroid somewhere then take a look at this wonderful game called Minecraft, it's truly one of the greats (up there with Sim City, Tetris, etc, etc...) - buy it!

Why we love Threes!

Threes is amazingly universal, for everyone from toddlers to totterers squishing matching, multiples of 3 together is addictive, fun and wonderfully simple. Threes seems to stick to its gaming roots, it's full of charm and character (somewhat reminiscent of Jimmy Whites Snooker on the Amiga (for those who remember!)) has an excellent soundtrack and visual style. The fact that there are literally hundreds of clones are testament to this games purity! We love it like one of those books you just know you'll read again and again!

• The charming loveliness
• That wonderful Ui
• Swiping to sign :) 

Threes is awesome, the rip-off's and clones stink, an essential game - buy it!
